Jarkman is an indie game studio based in South Wales making strange, handcrafted art, games and illustrated fiction. It exists for the artists who don’t quite fit. A surreal underwater puzzle-adventure game from Spiral Circus Games, co-created and art directed by Tom Mead.
Born from Tom’s watercolour paintings of figures lost in vast, empty abysses, Silt grew into a haunting world inspired by Limbo, Ecco the Dolphin and the art of Ronald Searle.
Backed by UK Games Fund, Creative England, and developed through Stugan, Sweden’s prestigious games accelerator. Released in 2022 across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC by Fireshine Games. Silt Mobile was published by Snapbreak Games, reaching over 1.5 million downloads worldwide. Featured on the Nintendo Indie World Showcase, announced at the E3 PC Gaming Show, front cover of Wireframe Magazine, and an official selection at the London Games Festival.
